As a standard part of our service we deliver Specialist Benefit Advice and Better off Calculations. As well as covering employment related benefits our Specialist Benefit Advisor delivers a 'wrap around' service to include Housing Benefits and Tax Credits and other personal circumstances. We always ensure that you will be financially better off working than you would be claiming benefits. Our Benefits Service is friendly, practical and confidential.

Better off calculations are carried out for all of our clients who enter employment. They are also carried out for clients who simply wish to see the financial implications of moving into work.

During 2010 when our clients entered employment, they were on average £261 better off.

Tracey is our Benefits Advisor and is a key part of the Shirlie team. She has extensive benefits background and is a busy lady as she advises all our clients and staff on the current legislation to ensure that every client who works with Shirlie makes decisions which make them better off. Outwith work, Tracey is a globetrotter and a music lover. She loves to travel and is a regular festival goer and keeps us 'oldies' in the office 'hip' when it comes to music.
